What is AllYourWinds application?
AllYourWinds is a compact collection of major and minor winds from all around the world,
featuring their vital characteristics such as name, direction, occurrence and some other pieces of information.
These have been iconized for easier read. There is a short, written description to all listed winds. Some have extra illustrations, too.
Is AllYourWinds a complete collection?
As the proverb runs, there are as many winds as number of days in a calendar year. Perhaps more.
Upfront, AllYourWinds lists well over 200 winds.
Yet, these will regularly be updated, along with the currently missing and or unknown information related to an already enlisted wind.
What is the use of AllYourWinds?
Sailors, pilots and aficionados of knowledge will find good use of AllYourWinds.
Is AllYourWinds a meteo service?
AllYourWinds is for general educational and fun purposes, only.
It is in neither way an actual meteo info service.
Is AllYourWinds using location data?
No, AllYourWinds is currently static, no user location is attained to bring up data.
The developers are considering to implement functions that may bring up location related information from the inner database,
but that will come with future updates, only.
Is AllYourWinds a navigation application?
AllYourWinds is a reference application to supplement background knowledge.
Is there any other contents of the application?
As a bonus, AllYourWinds application comes with a Beaufort scale, push button accessible directly from the main menu bar.
The scale is switchable and has been made easy to read.
Is a network connection needed to run the application?
Once downloaded, AllYourWinds works as a standalone application, no network connection is needed.
Perfectly runs in flight mode, as well.
What is the size of AllYourWinds?
AllYourWinds will take up 10MB of memory space.
What operation systems is AllYourWinds running on?
AllYourWinds operates on iOS devices. An Android version may follow in the future.
